Introducing: Lab Draws
We're excited to share that you can now get your labs drawn right here at Marin Family Medicine.
We've hired a dedicated phlebotomist to make this possible, and there is a $30 draw fee to help cover that cost.
How It Works
We're running this as a pilot program in April and May, with dedicated lab draw days a few times each month. Spots are available as 15-minute windows on a first-come, first-served basis. This service is available to Marin Family Medicine patients only.
A few things to know before you book:
Have a lab order ready. Labs need to be ordered before your appointment. If you're not sure whether you have one on file, send our staff a text message and we'll confirm — or order one if needed.
Upload your insurance information when booking. We pass your labs directly to Quest Diagnostics, who will process them through your insurance.
Cash pricing isn't available for in-clinic draws yet. If you're interested in highly discounted cash pricing, you'll still need to visit a Quest location directly for now. We use Rupa Health for cash-based lab pricing — it's typically around $5-10 per test plus a $10 draw fee at Quest. Stay tuned: later this year, Rupa is expected to allow in-house draws with cash pricing, and we plan to offer that when it's ready.
